Wagga Wagga Solar Battery Rebate

At Des Mullins Electrical & Solar in Wagga Wagga, we're helping homeowners and businesses maximise their energy savings with the new federal solar battery rebate now available. With the Federal Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program launching from 1 July 2025, eligible households and small businesses can access substantial upfront discounts on battery installations, helping you take greater control of your energy costs.

This Federal initiative offers approximately 30% off the upfront cost of small-scale battery systems through the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES). Administered via Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), the discount amount depends on your battery’s usable capacity and reduces gradually through to 2030. By installing now, you can lock in maximum savings while future-proofing your property against rising power prices.

Des Mullins Electrical & Solar is fully accredited under the Clean Energy Council to install battery systems that meet all state, territory, and federal program requirements. Ready to claim your rebate and start saving? Call 0412 982 199 to book your free consultation.

Feed-in Tariffs

If you install a solar system without a battery, any excess energy you generate can be fed back into the grid. Your electricity supplier will pay you a feed-in tariff, typically as a credit on your power bill. Learn more about how this works on the NSW Government Feed-in Tariff Rates page.

At Des Mullins Electrical & Solar, we’re here to guide you through the process of accessing these rebates and making the switch to solar as cost-effective as possible. Contact us today to get started.
